Bluepeak and Hogeschool Utrecht join forces

Sustainability goes beyond energy, it starts with people

For Bluepeak, sustainability does not stop at solar panels or smart energy systems. Sustainability also means investing in the society of tomorrow. And that society is built by people, by young professionals who are given the opportunity to grow, to learn, and to prove themselves.

Driven by this conviction, Bluepeak has entered into a collaboration with Scompany, the student consultancy of the Communication programme at Hogeschool Utrecht. Four final-year students are working as junior consultants on a real strategic challenge for a real company. No simulated assignment, no classroom context, but genuine professional experience in a working environment that demands something of them.

That is exactly what the labour market needs. Students who not only know the theory but also understand what it feels like to take responsibility, collaborate with a client, and deliver results. By offering that space as a company, we directly contribute to the quality with which the next generation of professionals enters the sector.

Bluepeak benefits from this too. Fresh eyes see things we sometimes overlook. The students bring current knowledge, ask critical questions, and challenge us to make deliberate choices in our communication. This collaboration is therefore not a one-way street, it’s an exchange.
