Bluepeak turns energy infrastructure for large-scale commercial real estate owners and logistics players from a cost line into a value driver. As Energy & Real Estate Integrator, you form the link between these two worlds: you speak both the language of the energy market and the language of the real estate investor, and you make sure energy investments are assessed and steered on the figures that matter to owners and investors, such as NOI, cap rate and value creation. You are an experienced professional who moves at senior level between technology, commerce and real estate finance, and who brings both clients and colleagues along in this translation.
The Energy & Real Estate Integrator ensures that energy infrastructure at Bluepeak's clients is translated into, and steered on, real estate financial language and metrics. He/she ensures that energy assets are seen by owners, investors and tenants as a value driver, not as a technical side issue or a cost line.
The Energy & Real Estate Integrator reports to the COO and works closely with the leads of Insights, Implementation and Energy Asset Management. For clients, he/she is the point of contact at the intersection of energy and real estate.
Translating technical energy analyses (yield, capacity, congestion, PPA structures) into real estate financial language and metrics such as NOI, cap rate and value creation
Developing and maintaining the valuation framework through which energy assets are factored into real estate valuation and investment decisions
Advising clients (developers, owners, investors) on how energy infrastructure contributes to NOI, tenant satisfaction and asset value
Identifying and bridging differences in language, assumptions and decision-making between the energy and real estate worlds, both at clients and within Bluepeak
Representing Bluepeak in discussions with real estate investors, asset managers and financiers on the business case for energy assets
Contributing to the further development of Insights, Implementation and Energy Asset Management from a real estate valuation perspective
Contributing to internal knowledge-building, so that colleagues with an energy background learn to speak the real estate language, and vice versa.
Actively contributing ideas on Bluepeak's proposition and growth from this integration role
Clients who assess and steer energy infrastructure on NOI and value creation, not on technical metrics alone
A clear, reusable valuation framework for energy assets within real estate portfolios
A demonstrable, visible contribution of energy assets to the asset value of client portfolios
A stronger position for Bluepeak among real estate investors and financiers as the party that connects energy and real estate finance
Colleagues within Bluepeak who move more fluently between energy and real estate language
