Purpose of the role
The Data & Energy Intelligence Analyst analyses energy and market data, develops scenarios for energy systems and translates these into clear, data-driven client reports (‘Insight’). In doing so, he/she supports both clients and internal teams in making technically and economically sound energy decisions, while actively contributing to the further development of Bluepeak as an organisation.
Position in the organisation
The Data & Energy Intelligence Analyst reports to the COO.
Core responsibilities
● Collecting, processing and analysing energy consumption profiles, production data and market information
● Modelling and calculating energy system configurations (including PV, BESS, generators, grid connections)
● Producing Bluepeak ‘Insight’ reports: complete, professional client advice from data to final conclusion
● Translating technical analyses into understandable scenarios, recommendations and visualisations for clients
● Developing and maintaining internal dashboards and reporting tools (BI)
● Identifying trends, risks and optimisation opportunities based on data analysis
● Actively contributing to the growth and development of Bluepeak, beyond one’s own role, and where needed stepping in, taking initiative or sharing knowledge to help the organisation move forward faster
